What is the Global Stocktake?
The Global Stocktake is a key component of the Paris Agreement, which reviews the implementation of the agreement and assesses joint progress in achieving the agreed goals.
The Global Stocktake links the national implementation of climate protection contributions with the overarching goals of the Paris Agreement and is thus intended to lead to an increase in climate policy efforts.
